Executive Committee

Onika Patel – Class of 2014
President, 1st Delegate | opatel@atsu.edu

Onika was born in College Station, TX although she mostly grew up in Tempe and Scottsdale, AZ. She thinks ASDA is a great opportunity to get involved with the school and learn about things that directly affect us as student dentists. She enjoys having the opportunity to get to know her classmates better as she voices their thoughts and opinions while promoting ASDA and all the great news and events throughout the year. When she has free time from school, she enjoys traveling and dancing. Although, she always has time for shopping!

Patricia Huh- Class of 2014
Vice President, 2nd Delegate | phuh@atsu.edu

Patricia was born in Los Angeles, CA, but moved around a lot, making it hard to decide where she’s from. The most recent place she lived in was San Diego, for 6 years, making it the longest stay in one city. She likes being involved with ASDA because it gives her an opportunity to learn about organized dentistry and also get involved with dental students from around the country. As much as she didn’t utilize the beach while living and working right in front of it, she misses it very much now that she is surrounded by the desert.

Julie Yamamoto – Class of 2014
Secretary
 | jyamamoto@atsu.edu

From the small farm town of Warden, WA, can carry a shovel and drive a tractor. Excited to be a part of ASDA this year, to become more involved in the community and ASDOH, and get your paperwork in on time so you get your membership card in the mail :). Enjoys drinking hot Starbucks with a straw, visiting family and friends, catching up on Project Runway (or insert popular tv show here) in the occasional free time, and never thought I would miss the Seattle rain until I moved to AZ.

Sarah Cordero – Class of 2014
Treasurer | scordero@atsu.edu

Sarah is from Albuquerque, New Mexico (aka: The Land of Enchantment) and loves to be involved in organizations that aim to empower students to be future leaders. She is excited to organize and implement ASDA activities for our ASDOH student body because it is a great way to network and make life long friendships. Sarah loves ice cream, french fries, fresh flowers, snowy days, the morning sunshine, and exercising until your body just can’t take any more.
